Roofing Questions
How do I know whether my roof needs repair or replacement?
A localized repair may be practical when the surrounding roof remains serviceable. Widespread deterioration, recurring leaks, and material condition may make replacement more appropriate. We assess accessible areas and explain our recommendation.
Can you find the source of a roof leak?
We inspect likely entry points and explain our findings. Water can travel before appearing inside, so the stain may not be directly below the source. Some leaks require further investigation.
Do you repair flat roofs?
Yes. We repair and replace EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen roofing, with recommendations based on the existing system and its condition.
Do you work on commercial and multifamily properties?
Yes. We work with building owners, property managers, condominium associations, and HOAs on roofing assessments, repairs, and replacements.
Do you replace skylights and roof vents?
Yes. Our services include skylight installation and replacement, roof vents, ridge vent conversions, and attic power fan replacement.
Storm Damage Questions
Does every hailstorm or windstorm mean I need a new roof?
No. We assess the observed damage and surrounding roofing before recommending repair or replacement.
Can you provide documentation for my insurer?
We can provide photos of observed conditions, findings, and an estimate for recommended work. Your insurance company determines coverage under your policy.
What should I do if water is entering my home?
Call 317-364-9511 to discuss the situation and current availability. Tell us which areas are affected. Avoid climbing onto a damaged roof.
Siding and Gutter Questions
Can you repair a small section of siding?
Often, yes. It depends on the surrounding material’s condition and whether compatible replacement pieces are available. An exact color match may not be possible.
What siding options do you install?
We provide vinyl and James Hardie fiber cement siding replacement, along with repairs to wood and fiber cement siding.
What gutters do you install?
We install six-inch continuous aluminum gutters and downspouts. We also provide gutter repairs, guards, and screens.
Do gutter guards eliminate cleaning?
No. They can reduce debris buildup, but the guards, gutters, and downspouts still need periodic inspection and maintenance.

How do I request an estimate?

What will my estimate include?
It identifies the proposed work, materials, and applicable workmanship warranty. Project-specific conditions and any limits to the initial assessment are explained.
What happens if you discover concealed damage?
We explain the findings and discuss additional work before proceeding.
Do you require money down for roof installations?
We offer no money down for roof installations. Your project documents explain the payment arrangements.

How long have you been in business?
Roof Masters & Exteriors was founded in 2011. Owner Shane Yeary brings more than 35 years of roofing experience.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes.
What workmanship warranties do you offer?
Qualifying roof installations include a 20-year transferable workmanship warranty. Qualifying repairs include a 5-year workmanship warranty, and siding and gutter installations include a 10-year workmanship warranty. Written warranty terms govern coverage.
